“My name is Murray. I am from Musapeetung first nation that is located 40 minutes north of Regina in the Qu’applle valley. I have worked mostly in casinos doing cleaning and being a porter. In 2007 I slipped on some icy steps and broke my neck.”
“Our family migrated to Canada in March of 2010. As soon as we arrived I tried to find a job. I looked for work in an office setting but was unable to find one. A year after coming to Canada, I had a stroke.”
“I have left the Employ-Ability Program with a greater understanding of disabilities, and what employers are looking for. I have gained a positive attitude and confidence within myself that I will be able to carry with me for the rest of my life.”
Thank you again to Rawlco radio and their continued support of the Neil Squire Society and the services provided. Together we are providing more employment opportunities for persons with physical disabilities.
