Lee Ann, currently a participant in Neil Squire Society’s Computer Comfort and Employ-Ability programs, is employed as a volunteer as she works toward a paying position in the social services field.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has granted $45,000 over two years to maintain and expand the Employ-Ability program in Pembroke, Ontario, targeting in particular individuals from the aboriginal communities living in Renfrew County.
On Monday, March 30th, four high school students from Burnaby Central toured the Neil Squire Society and conducted an interview as part of a project for the Toskan Casale Foundation’s Youth and Philanthropy Initiative.
Recently, the Neil Squire Society was featured in an article in the Burnaby Now newspaper.
