Peggy had over 20 years of experience as an industrial butcher, but when she lost much of her ability to walk due to diabetes, she had to get out of the industry.
“I wanted to learn how to use the computer better, and to talk with friends, and use Facebook and email.”
Through Digital Jumpstart, Robert received a new laptop, as well as access to some computer programs. He also received headphones, which helped him hear and concentrate.
“It’s nice to have that help when things are not great for small businesses and people who struggle with disabilities. To be able to help us out is huge.”
