Stephanie was struggling with identifying what she wanted to do with her life. She was born with Spina bifida and uses a wheelchair to get around. Since joining Working Together, Stephanie has experienced an increase in self-esteem and has become an active member of the community.

A victim of abuse and a residential school survivor, Brenda had dropped out of school in Grade Nine. As an adult, she began working on her education and completed her high school studies in 2016. Now, she’s off to university, but first wanted to learn her way around on a computer.

Wes is 67 years old. He stays active dragon boating twice a week. He’s accomplished, having won a couple of gold medals with his team, and hopes to compete in Hungary soon. He is visually impaired.

In 2013, Lorne suffered a fall which resulted in a broken back and severe brain trauma. The Neil Squire Society’s Computer Comfort program helped him re-learn how to use a computer and now he gives back to others.
