DESCRIPTION:Tyler Fentie from Makers Making Change will be presenting and hosting a demo booth at this years #a11TO Gaming Conference (new window) in Toronto on Saturday\, October 15th\, from 9 am to 5 pm EDT (registration opens at 8:30 am EDT). \nThe conference will include talks from industry leaders and needle-movers as well as including multiple installations including: an accessible gaming arcade\, QA sessions with experts\, live gaming demos\, and much much more to be announced in the coming weeks! Describing the benefits of open source assistive technology in the gaming space and demonstrating how the devices can be used. This talk will give an overview of the possibilities of adaptive gaming using the power of 3D printing and designing with the user at the forefront. Tyler will also discuss the resources MMC created to help new gamers eliminate the barriers of getting into adaptive gaming.
