SUMMARY:Bliss Carman Middle School Switch Builds
DESCRIPTION:Makers Making Change is excited to be in the classroom! Bliss Carman Middle School’s Grade 6 science classes will be making Light Touch and Raindrop switches during their class as part of learning about technology. Students are being provided with tools\, materials and instruction from MMC staff and throughout the week will build over 100 switches! Many thanks to our partners at the New Brunswick Premiere’s Council on Disabilities and National AccessAbillty Week which allow us to hold amazing events like this. \nBig thank you as well to Bliss Carman Middle School in Fredericton New Brunswick and teacher Mr. Chris Jones for taking on this project and partnering with us. Switches made during this week will be provided to Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation\, and throughout New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada.
