DESCRIPTION:Makers Making Change is once again working with the Camrose Public Library to support STEM education through an assistive technology lens. Our workshops encourage students to tackle real-world challenges as Maker Volunteers and to empathize with people with disabilities. Learn more here: Youth Making Change. \nKids in grades 1-6 get to have a hands-on challenge of designing a prototype for assistive technology – the type of technology that lets a person with disabilities interact with technology in an easier way\, like adapted game controllers! \nIn partnership with the Makers Making Change program of Neil Squire\, this event is open to registrants through the Camrose Public Library. Please register by contacting cpltechhelp@prl.ab.ca or by calling 780-672-4214
