SUMMARY:Circuit Makers: Toy Hacking
DESCRIPTION:Learn programming and circuitry basics with accessibility in mind. Accessible design creates objects and experiences that allow people of different abilities to enjoy your creative works. There will be exercises designed to help kids empathize with the challenges of different levels of motor control\, vision or hearing abilities and invent solutions for the future. We will learn how to hack electronic toys and program them with game controllers. This workshop will provide both digital and hand making skills related to creating accessible toys and aids. The accessible toys that kids create in this workshop will be donated to kids with accessible needs.
