SUMMARY:Glenrose Toy Build Part 1
DESCRIPTION:At this adaptive toy workshop\, with the Staff at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital\, we’ll explore Assistive Technology by Hacking into a Toy and re-wiring it to make it Switch Accessible. All the toys adapted from this event will be used at the Glenrose for rehabilitation and play! \nAccording to Statistics Canada\, 80% of people living with a disability use an assistive device to increase their independence\, and 27% need at least one more. Cost is often cited as the main barrier. \nIn partnership with the Makers Making Change program of Neil Squire.
