DESCRIPTION:Makers Making Change are hosting a second workshop in partnership with GWL Realty Advisors Inc. on June 23 2022  @ 1.00pm-3.00pm (EST) \n(This is a private event and by invitation only for employees GWLRA Regions). \nJoin us to learn about Assistive Technology and the work of the Neil Squire Society and the Makers Making Change program.  We will be building a Simple Switch Tester.  When an assistive switch is connected to the tester via the 3.5 mm jack and activated\, a light on the tester will illuminate indicating that the switch is functioning correctly. Accessible switches can be connected to any standard AT interface and can also be used with an Xbox Adaptive Controller. Full build kits\, tools and step by step instructions will be supplied to participants. More information will be provided by your local GWLRA event coordinator. To build the switch tester requires good motor skills and vision.
