SUMMARY:Linden Christian School - 3D Printing 101 and Toy Hack
DESCRIPTION:Over the course of three workshops\, Makers Making Change will be introducing our program to Grade 9 students at Linden Christian School. \nStudents will be introduced to Computer Aided Design (CAD) using Tinkercad. They will learn how they can design and make affordable assistive technology devices. \nStudents will also use Tinkercad to design 3d printed toppers for assistive switches. \nFinally\, students will assemble assistive switches using their customized switch toppers and will switch adapt toys to help illustrate one of many applications of assistive switches. Toys and switches will be donated to children with disabilities in the local community.
