DESCRIPTION:National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) 2025 takes place from May 25th to May 31st. It’s a time to promote accessibility and inclusion across Canada. This week recognizes the important contributions of people with disabilities and encourages efforts to remove barriers\, creating a fair and welcoming society for everyone. Get involved and help support greater accessibility! \nCommunities\, schools\, and workplaces across Canada can all take part in three different ways: \nVirtual Presentation\nWatch a virtual presentation featuring inspiring speakers with disabilities who will share their personal stories\, achievements\, and challenges. \nBuildathon\nReceive funding and organize a build event where youth and community members will learn how to make assistive technology solutions. \nWalk and Roll Event\nJoin or organize a neighborhood walk to show support and allyship for people with disabilities in their communities. \nSign up for some or all of these activities here.
