DESCRIPTION:Makers Making Change will be at this years ThriveWorldwide. \nTravel for All (new window)\, in partnership with the Ukrainian Community Centre (new window)\, Wheelchair Dance Sports Association of Canada  (new window)and the Canadian Assisted Travel Society (new window) has the pleasure of inviting you to ThriveWorldwide to celebrate diversity and inclusion. \nJoin us as we celebrate the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) (new window) on Saturday\, December 1st\, 2018 from 5 – 7.30 PM at The Ukrainian Community Centre in Richmond. \nHonorable Stephanie Cadieux (new window)\, MLA South Surrey will be the Guest of Honor and Keynote speaker \nIt’s a day of acknowledgment of how far we’ve come and how much we have yet to change for people with disabilities. It’s a pivotal day to celebrate inclusion and acknowledge the many organizations who support people with disabilities in various ways. \nIf we can normalize inclusion around the world\, people with disabilities will no longer be “different” – just differently-abled. \nRegistration is required for administrative purposes.
