SUMMARY:UofM OT Program – AT Unit – Interact Switch Build
DESCRIPTION:(This is a private event for students enrolled in UofM Practice Skills in OT). \nWe are pleased to partner with University of Manitoba to facilitate an Interact Switch build event to students participating in the Assistive Technology Unit\, Practice Skills in Occupational Therapy Course. The objective of this unit is to provide students with hands on experience in the creation and adaptation of switch access in order to improve independent device access and use in the promotion of occupational participation. \nFull build kits\, tools and step by step instructions will be supplied. \nAll assistive devices will be donated to people with disabilities in the community.
