DESCRIPTION:West Vancouver Memorial Library and Makers Making Change are joining together for a fun STEAM workshop where they will build an assistive device. Participants will learn about MMC\, designing assistive technology\, assistive switches\, and switch adapted toys. \nThis is a closed event for West Vancouver Memorial Library staff. \nMakers Making Change is an online platform providing a disruptively low-cost alternative to commercially available assistive technologies. With a wide range of devices available in the assistive devices library\, there are many options for people to request from and work with a volunteer maker who can build it for them.
