DESCRIPTION:This virtual workshop\, hosted in partnership with Neil Squire is customized for People with Disabilities\, where you will gain expert guidance on how to navigate job fairs and ensure you receive the support and accessibility needed to succeed. You will: \n\nLearn how to advocate for yourself effectively\nExplore how to confidently share your strengths and discuss workplace accessibility needs with employers\nGain exclusive insights from a recruiter’s perspective\n\nNeil Squire has been revolutionizing the lives of Canadians with disabilities since 1984 through accessible assistive technology. Our work is focused on four distinct areas: Innovation\, Digital Literacy\, Employment\, and Assistive Technology. Our work enables people with disabilities to achieve their goals\, reach their full potential and continue living life to the fullest. \nThis workshop will be facilitated by Nate Toevs\, Marketing Manager at Neil Squire. \nInterested in more support? WorkBC Assistive Technology Services provides assistive technology or supports to individuals with disabilities to assist them to gain and sustain employment or community attachment.
