DESCRIPTION:Makers Making Change’s Bozeman chapter is hosting an access switch build in partnership with Montana State University and MonTECH at the Jake Jabbs School of Entrepreneurship on Feb 27 2020. Participants will be making MMC Light Touch and Raindrop Switches. All switches will be QC’d and sent to MonTECH clients with disabilities.

DESCRIPTION:Use your Maker Skills to Help People with Disabilities \nAbout this Event\nAre you interested in 3D Printing?\nDo you need volunteer experience?\nDo you want to explore potential career paths?\nDo you want to use your maker skills to help people? \nCome to our Open House at the University of Lethbridge Innovation Zone to learn about 3D printing technology and how it can be used to create open source designs to help people with disabilities gain access to low cost assistive devices. \nWe are starting a Lethbridge Chapter of Makers Making Change!\nMeet out Chapter Leaders:\nAmanda Woodtke is currently an Undergrad working towards a BSc in Kinesiology with a minor in Small Business Management at the University of Lethbridge. Her area of interest and research looks at the effects and benefits of isometric exercise. \nKevin Roelofs is a C1 quadriplegic and currently managers the University of Lethbridge Innovation zone space. He is active in the disability community and regularly works with local disability groups to help people design assistive devices for their own use.
