Welcome Milad!

May 18, 2012

The Neil Squire Society’s (new window) Burnaby office is pleased to have Milad join our team for the summer. Milad, who has Muscular Dystrophy (new window), is in his 4th year at Simon Fraser University (new window) (SFU) studying Systems Engineering (new window). As part of the Co-op Program at SFU (new window), Milad is required to gain relevant work experience to coincide with his education.Milad - Neil Squire Society summer student

Milad says that he is looking forward to “this great opportunity of being able to learn new things while helping others.” The thing that Milad is most excited about is “learning about robotics and the technologies that are created at the Neil Squire Society.” Since taking a robotics course at SFU, Milad hopes to see the “Neil Squire Society’s Research and Development lab” and hopes to put the “skills learnt at school to use.”

The Neil Squire Society is very lucky to have Milad here for the summer. You never know, maybe Milad will create something with our Research and Development team!

Welcome Milad!
