National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) 2026 takes place from May 31st to June 6th. It’s a time to promote accessibility and inclusion across Canada. This week recognizes the important contributions of people with disabilities and encourages efforts to remove barriers, creating a fair and welcoming society for everyone. Rick Hansen Many In Motion Day
During National AccessAbility Week, schools across Canada will come together to recognize the legacy of Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour — and take a closer look at the barriers that still shape students’ everyday experiences. Many In Motion Day is a national day of action designed to explore how accessibility shapes everyday experiences at school and beyond. It’s about noticing what works, understanding what doesn’t, and encouraging meaningful actions that help everyone belong.

A collaborative NAAW event with CCRW, uOttawa Career Corner, La Cité, National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS), and Neil Squire. We welcome jobseekers, students, community members, and employers to drop in and connect with services, supports, and employment resources in an open format.

Please join Neil Squire Society staff for a Walk and Roll in recognition of National AccessAbility Week (NAAW). This free event is open to anyone in the community who wishes to attend. We will be meeting on June 4th at noon at the Neil Squire Head Office in Burnaby and walking together to raise awareness of accessibility and inclusion. All are welcome. No need to RSVP.
