On page 80 you will notice a section dedicated to supporting job opportunities for persons with disabilities. This section refers heavily to the recent Panel on Labour Market Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (new window) and the report called Rethinking Disability in the Private Sector (new window). The Neil Squire Society’s Executive Director, Dr. Gary Birch, was one of the four chosen members of this panel. Together they are removing barriers in the work force and are encouraging employers to hire more people with disabilities.
