Amelia Story

Last year, you donated to support our work – and together, over 400 Canadians with disabilities found employment. One of them was Amelia.

Amelia has faced more challenges in her 25 years than most people will face in a lifetime. Amelia was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic bone disorder that has led to an uncountable number of broken bones. She is a cancer survivor. Amelia also has an unwavering determination. Earlier this year, we worked with Telus Optik TV to share her story so far.

Today, we opened a Christmas Card from Amelia. Inside, was her first business card – the best card we’ve had this season.

Thank you for supporting Amelia and the Neil Squire Society this past year. Please continue your support as we help the next 400 people with disabilities find employment.
