Our Makers Making Change (new window) program has new website.
Our team has been hard at work over the past few months to develop a new web experience for Makers Making Change.
As our community grows, as our device library continues to expand, and as we continue to host more builds and community events every year, we needed to build a new platform that can support this growth.
We’ve designed this website with you, the user, in mind.
Starting right at the homepage, you’re instantly greeted with a selection of options from our Assistive Device Library, allowing you to jump right to the device you need or the design that you’re looking to print without any hassle.
One of the key features we’ve been working hard at is a more efficient Device Request process. Both the Device Requester and Maker will be notified by email at every step of the process, ensuring requests can be completed in a timely fashion.
Our new, improved Events page allows you to search for events in your area, making it easier to get involved with a local build, rather than sifting through every event to find if there’s one near you. We’ve also simplified our forum, making it easier to navigate and use.
And one thing you’ll notice right away, our new website loads a lot faster.
We hope you enjoy our new website, and thank you for supporting Makers Making Change. As with everything we do, we are always looking to improve and will be continuing to refine the experience. And having just launched, there are bound to be a few bugs. Please let us know if you notice anything or have any feedback for us at info@makersmakingchange.com.
