Having a tough time finding employment after a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Amelia came to Neil Squire for help.
“They provided me with funds towards the purchase of hearing aids,” Cheryl explains. “I am able to continue in my employment seamlessly. No one would know I have an impairment, it would not cause concern for anyone. I can carry out my job.”
Cheng is a senior consultant for a cross-cultural communications consulting firm, where his role involves facilitating focus groups, consultation sessions, and online interviews. He also works on-call as an interpreter. His hearing loss was making both roles difficult.
When grade 12 student Hanna first learned about Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program from her mother, an occupational therapist who works with children with disabilities, it immediately caught her attention.
