Hacking for the Holidays Makes a Difference for Jainita’s Family

On December 3rd, approximately 100 volunteers joined us for our annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities build event in Fredericton hosted in partnership with the New Brunswick’s Premier’s Council on Disabilities.
“Hearing aids help improve my ability [to] job search, interview, and complete my English classes,” says Volodymyr.
On November 23rd, 22 volunteers braved the snow for our first Hacking for the Holidays build event in Cranbrook, BC.
Yong Dan works as a Store Associate for a retail store. Her duties include greeting customers, working the cash register, restocking and organizing merchandise, and resolving customer complaints. She has hearing loss.
