Andrea recently completed training to become a social and community service worker, and is looking for employment in that field. She has hearing loss, which makes it difficult to communicate without hearing aids.
After learning about Neil Squire from The Gary Tinker Federation, Malachi joined our Creative Employment Options program for guidance in navigating the labour market in La Ronge.

“The program helped me in so many ways. I had no idea just how much I was missing. I go days without saying, ‘Can you repeat that?’ or ‘I can’t hear you unless you are in front of me.’ I received a set of hearing aids which I wear religiously.”
With her new hearing aids she received thanks to the help from WorkBC Assistive Technology Services, Rita feels much more confident in her job search.
