Damian’s hard work, passion, and dedication soon paid off. He was offered a full-time position as a line cook in Calgary using his skills and passion to cook and create delicious dishes.
Matteo was working as a restaurant kitchen manager, but last year he had a knee injury that led to a torn meniscus. His injury required surgery and extensive physio, and now his knee has physical limitations preventing him from returning to more physical work.
“Prior to the program, I just knew the basics of computers, but now I know my computer skills and understanding have improved. I enjoyed learning something different in each class and having the opportunity to practice from home was especially helpful.”
“Hearing aids have benefitted me greatly in both of my chosen fields,” Calvin shares. “Bluetooth capabilities allow for easier conversations on the phone as well as dealing with people I do not require face to face contact.”
