Michelle had been out of school for a long time when she decided to return to achieve her Grade 12 diploma. Manitoba Possible encouraged Michelle to reach out to Neil Squire to learn about the Digital Jumpstart program.
36 Grade 5 students at École Mgr-Martin got the chance to make a change in their classroom and community, learning STEM skills while adapting toys that would go to their classmates with disabilities and community organizations.

Jaycee is a talented musician based out of Agassiz. She plays with the Vancouver Adapted Music Society, one of six societies supported by the Disability Foundation. Music played a big part in her recovery from surgery to remove a brain tumour.
