Chronic nerve pain and fatigue made long days on the computer difficult for Judy, an outreach worker for a non-profit. She turned to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services for help.
Through her work experience, Marissa says that she feels more confident in what she can and cannot do, more responsible, and better able to support herself.
With the help of computer skills she learned from our Digital Jumpstart program, Carmen has been hosting a retreat on her property. “I only opened up September 15th, but since then every weekend I’ve been pretty much booked.”
“[Working Together] has taught me to be persistent when applying and to not get discouraged or give up. It has taught me how to prepare my resume and cover letter, and how to conduct myself in an interview should the opportunity present itself.”
Through WorkBC, Roberta learned about the WorkBC Assistive Technology Services program to help her thrive in her training and return to the workforce. “I have been shown that I can go beyond what I thought my limitations were with help.”
