BURNABY, British Columbia, January 11, 2011 – Funding totaling $10,000 from Coast Capital Savings (new window) will support the Neil Squire Society’s Individual and self-paced, skills development program, Employ-Ability in the province of British Columbia
“We are thrilled to once again have the support of Coast Capital Savings (new window) for our Employ-Ability program,” said Gary Birch, Executive Director of the Neil Squire Society, “This funding will help us to assist persons with disabilities who are seeking employable skills, education and confidence leading to long-term attachment in the workforce.”
Employ-Ability is a program for persons with disabilities who are most marginalized in society, particularly those who have had very long term detachment from the labour force. The program provides a flexible, self-paced, and supportive environment, and services the full spectrum of people with physical disabilities.
