April 12, 2024 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT
Event Navigation

As part of McGill University’s Design of Assistive Technologies course end-of-term project, students have been diligently working on the McGill Makers Library! This initiative aims to teach makers various skills such as 3D printing, soldering and how to use basic tools. These skills can then be utilized in the making and assembly of various 3D printed assistive technologies.
Please join them for the grand opening of the McGill Makers Library on April 12th from 3-6 pm. The event will take place on the second floor of the Hosmer House building on McGill Campus. The address is: 3630 Promenade Sir-William-Osler, Montreal, Quebec H3G 1Y5.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to:
- Witness the unveiling of our diverse collection of assistive devices
- Engage in hands-on demonstrations and learn more about 3D printing
- Meet the talented students behind the creation and curation of the library
We believe that the McGill Makers Library will serve as an invaluable resource for our community, fostering inclusivity and empowerment for individuals with diverse needs. Your presence and support at the launch event would mean a lot to us as we embark on this journey to make technology more accessible and inclusive for all.
