• Clubs That Care: Switch Build with UVic BMED

    McPherson Library 3800 Finnerty Rd, Victoria, BC, Canada

    On January 14, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm PST, the University of Victoria’s Biomedical Engineering Student Design Team will be building switches for people with disabilities. Participants will build assistive devices including the Interact Switch. Tools will be provided on-site.

  • 3D Printing Workshop with Ronald-Marion Elementary School

    Makers Making Change is partnering with Ronald-Marion Elementary School to host a 3 part series of events. Individuals will learn about the Makers Making Change program and 3D printing. This is a closed event for Ronald-Marion students and teachers only.

  • STEAMPEI Switch Build & Toy Hack

    Epekwitk Assembly of Councils Building 8 Stan MacPherson Way, Charlottetown, PE, Canada

    In collaboration with STEAMPEI, Makers Making Change will host an event where attendees can learn more about assistive technology and devices  and the Makers Making Change program while also learning hands on making skills that include soldering and 3d printing.

  • CAGIS Calgary Switch Build

    In collaboration with CAGIS Calgary, Makers Making Change will host an event where attendees can learn more about assistive technology and the Makers Making Change program. Participants will learn hands on making skills that include soldering and 3D printing. Devices made during this session will be donated locally in Calgary.

  • Toy Hacking with GRIT

    Makers Making Change is partnering with GRIT program to host a switch build and toy hack. Individuals will learn about the Makers Making Change program and build switches and adapt a toy to make it accessible. All toys and switches will be donated to local community groups.
