Hacking for the Holidays 2026, Presented by the Air Canada Foundation

Give the gift of play!

Every child deserves to play. But for many kids with disabilities, toys can be hard to use independently, and commercially adapted versions can run upwards of $300. However, with a little bit of tinkering, we can switch-adapt toys and make them accessible for a fraction of the cost.

From September to December for our fifth annual Hacking for the Holidays (new window) campaign, presented by the Air Canada Foundation (new window), we’re engaging 1,000 volunteers — students, corporate partners, and other community members — to help us adapt and donate 2,500 toys and switches to families and clinicians all over Canada.

We’re looking to raise $150,000 to spread the joy of play this holiday season. Every dollar counts — $60 can cover the cost of one toy and one switch, giving a child everything they need to play with a new toy this holiday season.
