Volunteers to Make Assistive Technology for People with Disabilities at the Neil Squire Elves Workshop in Regina
Persons with Disabilities at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre to Benefit
The Neil Squire Elves Workshop, a maker event put on by Neil Squire Society’s Makers Making Change (new window), will take place on December 19th at the Saskatchewan Science Centre in Regina. Approximately 20 Human Resources individuals from the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure will be volunteering their time to make LipSyncs (new window) which will be donated to Wascana Rehabilitation Centre (new window) for people with disabilities for Christmas.
This event is being put on by Neil Squire Society’s Makers Making Change in partnership with the Saskatchewan Science Centre (new window), and the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation (new window)’s Smart & Caring Fund (new window).
The Society would like to thank their friends, clients, and community partners by inviting them to drop in and celebrate with them.
