CNIB has launched a new program called Phone It Forward that gives people a unique opportunity to donate their old phones, receive a tax receipt and empower people who are blind in the process.
Today we’re going to look at an app that’s designed to narrate the outside world to individuals with low or no vision. This free app provides accurate audio descriptions of the outside world, using an abundance of features to simulate sight, backed by human-like intelligence.
We will be presenting at Community INC in Kentville Nova Scotia on Wednesday November 7th at 3pm. The presentation will be on Neil Squire Society’s programs with a focus on employment. Community INC providies employment support services that are accessible, equitable and inclusive to all persons with disabilities and employers in Kings County.
