Skip to NavigationIan Chan is a wheelchair rugby player who enrolled in the Distance Computer Comfort program. Using the resume and cover letter he made in the classes, he was able to land the head coach position at BC Wheelchair Sports Association.
On November 22nd, Sustainability Television visited our Burnaby office to film a segment. The segment will focus on Neil Squire Society and Makers Making Change. It won’t be broadcast until September 2018, but we were excited to be a part of it!
Farah, who has ulcerative colitis and arthritis, approached the Solutions for Employment team to upgrade her qualifications. She went back to school and is now employed as a Settlement Worker.
Cody is an enthusiastic 15-year-old with autism. He approached Working Together in search of a “real job” so that he could earn some money.
On October 5 and 6, Chad aims to complete building 20 LipSyncs with the help of UBC students and Vancouver Hack Space members. Everyone is welcome!
