With the help of a wage subsidy through our Creative Employment Options program, Grizzly Spring Waters have recently hired two youth with disabilities — River and Brody.
Lovisa works with an organization helping women fleeing abuse. Her job involves talking with clients in-person and over the phone, a task made difficult by her hearing loss.
Today, as part of Disability Employment Month in BC, we were glad to host the team from MOSAIC at our Burnaby Head Office. Employer Outreach Developer Nate Toevs led them on a tour of our office, giving a demonstration of WorkBC Assistive Technology Services and our programs.
