Help Hack Toys at Our Holiday Hackathon!

We’re excited to announce our first annual Holiday Hackathon at The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby, BC. As part of this year’s Hacking for the Holidays campaign, on Friday, November 22nd, we’re going to switch adapt 250 toys to donate to kids with disabilities in Canada. And we need your help to do it!

Bob Uses His Skills to Volunteer With Makers Making Change

Bob worked in the telecommunications industry as an engineer for 30 years before retiring in 1999. He loves working with electronics. So, when he came across Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program at an event at the Coquitlam Public Library earlier this year, it quickly piqued his interest.

Chessa has Central Auditory Processing Disorder, which leads to misunderstanding and mishearing of conversations. She finds loud voices and quick speech difficult to hear, and can find directions difficult to follow.
