As compared to before, I’d rather stay quiet as I know I would always have a hard time hearing them and would feel embarrassed on asking them to keep repeating what they said.”

Kim’s hearing aids weren’t working too well, but she couldn’t afford new ones. When she told her audiologist that she would have to “make do” with the old ones, her audiologist referred her to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services for support.
With the help of new hearing aids received through WorkBC Assistive Technology Services, Carolina says she has found her “perfect job.”
