In 2006, a partnership developed between Neil Squire and the Penticton Indian Band and ever since we have collaborated on programs for the community out of the Footprints Centre with a focus on employment.
For Indigenous Disability Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight some of the work our Prairie Regional Office has done with Indigenous people with disabilities and communities in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba.
Because of her experiences, Melissa decided she wanted to gain experience helping people affected by substance abuse, sexual abuse, or domestic violence.
