Last week, members of our Prairie Region Team from Regina and Yellowknife attended a Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) stakeholders meeting in Yellowknife with our community partners including MentorAbility NWT, Inclusion NWT, and CDÉTNO.
Yesterday, Mercy Beilem, Job Developer and Career Facilitator for Creative Employment Options at our Yellowknife office, attended the Yellowknife Farmers Market Welcoming Day for Newcomers, and shared our program and services at Somba ‘Ke Civic Plaza alongside our community partner CDÉTNO.
And rounding out our Prairie Region yesterday, our Yellowknife office in partnership with CDÉTNO and MentorAbility NWT did their Walk and Roll for National AccessAbility Week.
Last week, Colleen Courtney and Patrick Kippax from our Prairie Regional Office were in Yellowknife meeting with community partners and making connections for the opening of our Northwest Territories office.
