We’d like to take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to all our Neil Squire volunteers.
Since fall, Makers Making Change has sent over 50 demo kits — containing a variety of 3D printed assistive devices — to targeted hospitals, rehab centres, libraries, and programs that work with people with disabilities throughout Canada. In all, over 450 devices have been delivered through the kits.
“The tray is amazing. It’s gonna be so much more handier, I used to have to eat all my meals on top of a pillow on my lap, which was a little bit tedious.”
Imtiaz Jadavji is one of the newer makers to join our community. But he’s very quickly made a big impact, having taken on the task of redesigning our light touch switch.
