Randy Continues His Meaningful Work Thanks to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services

“Before I received ATS support I could only sit at my workstation and type for very short periods of time and then have to stop. Now I have been able to use voice dictation to prepare lesson plans and documents and be able to change the position of my body so I can work for much longer than before,” Linda says.
Justina works part-time as a medical office assistant at a physiotherapy clinic in Comox. Her job includes everything from cleaning and dressing the patient rooms, answering the phones, and taking payment for appointments.
“The ATS program helped me to achieve a safe and comfortable work from home station to support my employment.”
Lonnie found that his office set-up was lacking for his new career, and his employment counsellor referred him to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services.
