“What a difference. I am much less stressed and fatigued at the end of the day. I feel more competent again in my job.”
“I had severe hearing loss in one ear and the other ear was starting to lessen,” Russell shares. “I had to always try to keep the customer to my left to hear the details of an order, often having to ask for a repeat if there were other distractions or noises in the background.”
Jamie is a sales professional based in Kelowna. It’s a job that requires him to be focused in conversations with clients and staff, something that was becoming hard to do with his hearing loss.
“Assistive Technology Services helped me to get a full time job,” Hao beams. Before landing this job, however, he was pounding the pavement looking for work, and he faced a significant barrier due to hearing loss.
