Go Eng Girls LipSync Build
Makers Making Change will be working with University of Manitoba and their Go Eng Girls event. It is an annual opportunity for girls in grades 7-9 to visit the University of Manitoba and dip their toes into engineering. Participants will be grouped with current female undergraduate engineering students for a fun and hands-on engineering build activity. Makers Making Change will be running a toy hack hosted by University of Manitoba and their Department of Occupational Therapy. In addition to hacking toys, attendees will be making access switches from the Makers Making Change library, so the toy can be used by a youth with a disability in the Winnipeg area.
