Ten years ago, non-profit organization and Canadian leader in assistive technology, Neil Squire Society launched their Makers Making Change program which brings together community based makers and volunteers to create affordable, open‑source assistive technologies for people with disabilities.
We’re excited to share our special NAAW presentation videos with you. Primarily geared towards school aged children, they are available to stream starting today. Feel free to watch an English or French video at a time that works best for your schedule. It’s a flexible resource designed to fit into your week.
There are three ways for individuals, schools, communities, and workplaces across Canada to participate in NAAW, and you’re welcome to choose any or all of these self-directed activities. No matter how you choose to take part, you’ll be helping us spread awareness of accessibility and disability inclusion.
