“It Was Very Helpful,” Justin Finds the Right Fit With Working Together

“The disability supports have helped with the pain, fatigue and difficulty in doing my job due to the injury,” she says. “Having my vehicle modified to accommodate my disability has been invaluable as my job enables me to make ends meet. I honestly don’t know how I was managing before and don’t know how much longer I could have gone on like that.”
Thanks to Co-op Refinery Complex’s Emergency Response Team’s engagement and hard work, interactive toys, switches, and battery interrupters have been delivered to the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
“My hearing ability had diminished drastically, and I was unable to function at my best. I do a lot of phone intake with women, this is one of the most difficult phone calls they make and not to be able to hear properly was unforgivable,” Marie explains.
“I’m never a one trick pony,” says Richard Peter. As an Indigenous leader, five-time Paralympian, mentor, sports advocate, research champion, husband, son — and so much more — this is an understatement.
