“I’ve Gained My Confidence Back,” Douglas’ New Hearing Aids Make a Big Difference

Through Digital Jumpstart, Taylor received equipment including a computer, mouse, and keyboard, and received training in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point. Working with Neil Squire staff on their job search, Taylor was hired by the Disability Foundation, a role that helped Taylor find confidence in their abilities.
Since immigrating to Canada, Aliakbar has had a hard time finding employment. He faced a language barrier, a lack of Canadian education, and hearing loss.
Lynn is passionate about caring for seniors, with extensive experience working with clients in independent living homes. Now, she wants to continue working with seniors and performing respite care services as an entrepreneur in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
