Greg Pyc wins Accessible City Award from City of Vancouver

Greg Pyc - FinalGreg Pyc, National Operations Manager at the Neil Squire Society, won the City of Vancouver’s Accessible City Award of Excellence. The Accessible City Award recognizes outstanding leadership to enhance accessibility, inclusion, and elimination of barriers to full participation for persons with disabilities. At the Neil Squire Society Greg helps lead the Neil Squire Society team in using technology, knowledge and passion to empower Canadians with physical disabilities. In the community Greg takes on initiatives to promote the independence of persons with disabilities.

The Neil Squire Society was the runner up for the Accessible City Award of Excellence, in the organizational category.

“A member of Vancouver’s Persons with Disabilities Advisory Committee, Greg Pyc was instrumental in securing $9 million from the federal government to fund employment programs for people with disabilities in six cities in Canada — including 150 people in Vancouver — and improve workplace access for people with disabilities.
