We are very proud of the Neil Squire Society‘s Adult Learning Centre participants who submitted creative works to the Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick (new window)‘s Lifelong Learning, the Future of New Brunswick Contest.
Contest participants were asked to write 300 to 500 words in their favorite form of creative writing. Jason Bourgeois (new window)‘ touching story uses the ocean to describe the thrill of learning. In her story, Shelley Mackenzie (new window) tells of how Heidi O’Donnell and the Neil Squire Adult Learning Centre helped her conquer her dyslexia and achieve her learning goals. For his entry Jeremy Goguen (new window) uses clever poetry to encourage us all to build up our knowledge.
Each of these participants did a wonderful job expressing what learning and literacy has meant to them. Congratulations guys!
