Kaley has cerebral palsy (new window) and uses a wheelchair for mobility. She was enrolled in another program when she came to the Neil Squire Society for an information gathering meeting. After her visit, Kaley felt the Employ-Ability Program would be the best opportunity for her to learn how to be successful in the workplace. She came to us with many strengths and a desire to contribute to society.
We are pleased to announce that Kaley has been hired to work as a self-advocate interviewer. Her job is to interview self-advocates for their thoughts and opinions on pertinent issues. She will then report these opinions to Community Living British Columbia (new window).
Way to go, Kaley!
